Incredible Easter Weekend in Politics : See it charted in TV news reports

Below are a series of links to news reports from BBC, Sky News and Channel 4 that chart the progress of the incredible turn around by Gordon Brown to grant free votes on the controversial aspects of the HFE Bill.

We are now strongly encouraging all Christians to contact and speak to their MPs to convince them why they must reject the clauses on Saviour Siblings, changes to rules for IVF treatment and the creation of Animal-Human Hybrid embryos.

 Wed 12th March : David Cameron challenges Gordon Brown at PMQs whether he will grant a free vote to his party. (BBC Parliament)

 Wed 19th March : One week later, Cameron challenges Brown for a second time at PMQs on the same issue (BBC Parliament)

 Good Friday, 21st March : Then the Scottish Catholic Cardinal speaks out saying Brown should permit Catholic MPs a free vote. (BBC News 24)

 The Next Day, Sat 22nd March : The Welsh Archbishops joins the debate calling for the same thing. (Channel 4 News)

 Then Easter Sunday, 23rd March : Cardinal Murphy O Connor demands a free vote, putting immense pressure of Brown. (BBC News 24 - news report followed by in-studio debate on issue.)
