Wed 12th March : David Cameron challenges Gordon Brown at PMQs whether he will grant a free vote to his party. (BBC Parliament) Wed 19th March : One week later, Cameron challenges Brown for a second time at PMQs on the same issue (BBC Parliament) Good Friday, 21st March : Then the Scottish Catholic Cardinal speaks out saying Brown should permit Catholic MPs a free vote.
